The problem
Commercial CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce are powerful but often too expensive, complex, or bloated for a small business with 2–10 sales reps. Many SMBs still manage clients on Excel sheets or paper, losing sales opportunities and conversation history.
The solution
A custom web CRM built with Next.js and Supabase covering exactly what's needed: contact and company directory, visual column pipeline (drag & drop), notes and attachments per client, automatic email reminders for due follow-ups, dashboard with deals by value and stage, and a weekly report sent to the owner every Monday morning.
How it works
1. Add contact / company with contact info and sector tags 2. Create a deal linked to the contact with estimated value 3. Move pipeline stages with drag & drop (First contact → Proposal → Negotiation → Closed) 4. Add notes and files for each interaction 5. Automatic reminder 2 days before follow-up deadline 6. Open deals summary dashboard per sales rep 7. Weekly PDF report with pipeline status and sales KPIs
Typical results
Deal close rate +25–35% thanks to systematic follow-ups. Complete elimination of Excel sheets. Average sales rep onboarding time reduced from weeks to hours. Monthly cost <10% compared to an equivalent commercial CRM.
