The problem
In many small companies HR management is still paper-based or by email: employees send messages to request leave, managers approve verbally, payslips are delivered on paper or via unstructured email. This causes confusion, delays, and lack of traceability.
The solution
A Next.js portal with NextAuth authentication where each employee logs in with their own credentials. They can submit vacation and leave requests with dates and reason; the manager receives an email notification and approves or rejects directly from the portal. The owner or administrator uploads PDF payslips to each employee's profile. The portal also includes a company announcements board and a team directory with contacts and roles.
